Hello friends!
I’m so excited to start my very own newsletter, Between the pages with Aimee. If you don’t already know me, I’m Aimee and I create bookish/reading content as @the.paperback.place on Instagram. I’m hoping this will be a fun email to hit your inbox every month. I’m going to share the format that I will be using for this monthly newsletter below. If this seems like something you would be interested in, I hope you’ll subscribe!
This section will be dedicated to what's on my shelf. I’ll be sharing book lists for different seasons or occasions. I’ll share lists of books that inspire me, made me laugh, or made me swoon. I’ll feature rotating collections—like “Books I’ve Bought But Haven’t Read Yet” or “Favorite Comfort Reads.” This section will be all about the books I’ve read and loved.
This section will feature any and everything outside of books! It might feature a podcast I am loving, an app I can’t live without, or a creative side project I’m working on. It’s a place to focus on everything that fuels our creativity beyond books. Think of it as your go-to spot for podcasts, movies, art, TV shows, social media accounts, playlists and online communities that enhance my love for not only reading but life in general.
I’m probably most excited for this section! A space for you —my friends — to share book recommendations with each other. I plan to feature some of my friends’ favorite books or upcoming releases.
This will be where I share creative ideas and inspiration for other bookish creators. I love sharing a monthly post on Instagram with bookish content ideas. This will be additional ideas that you can only get here. This space is all about sparking creativity. I’ll share bonus ideas, creative challenges, or even how-to tips for fellow bookish creators looking to mix things up.
I just got a new puppy, Copper, and I’m pretty much making “puppy mom” my whole new personality. This will be a mix of cute and fun content for readers who are both dog lovers and bookworms. I’ll share updates on his growth, quirky habits, funny moments, or even cute photos/videos. He’s going to be the perfect little reading buddy.
This will be a fun “wildcard” section, where I provide quick ideas, favorite recent book quotes, or little pieces of inspiration that don’t fit anywhere else. Think of it as a “bookish Pinterest” with links to helpful resources, articles, or even memes that inspire your content. I will also share links to bookish influencer sign ups and book events coming up.
That’s all for now friends! Starting something new always feels like jumping off the edge of a cliff with a parachute you’re not quite sure how to work! I hope you guys will come along with me on the journey and have some fun along the way!
